Thinking more about photography recently made me remember a concert I shot back in 2007 in Hannover. That year TOTO was on their “Falling inbetween” tour and stopped by in Hannover (see german article here). I remember it being a nice, warm summer day – I arrived early and shot the support group (Cooper Inc.) too. A couple of days after the concert I got mail by Hans in ‘t Zandt asking me about a photo I shot of him (he was the drummer of Cooper Inc. – check out his website on http://hansintzandt.nl/.)

I’m posting this because the title image of his current website and the one he uses on MySpace was shot by me and is somehow special to me as it was the first picture I actually sold – ever!

Now I know why they say: “As a concert photographer remember one thing: never forget the drummer.” ;-)
