A few impressions of our photoshoot with Yuliana the other week just before football game GER vs. ESP. I absolutely loved this shoot just because Yuliana was a great model and it was the first shoot I did with just my camera, two lenses (85mm and 50mm) all wide open and a California Sunbounce Micro Mini to fill in the shadows. We got some great “business style” pictures, lots of them just shot against the sun which I absolutely love as it separates Yuliana nicely from the background. Thank you again for this marvelous photoshoot!

Hey guys – today I want to bring this picture to your attention as it’s supposed to be the start of a little “street portraiture” project that I want to do the next couple of months. I don’t intend to commit to one picture each day – we’ll see how many will come up in the end. For each picture I’ll state the shoot-info meaning details about camera, lens and exposure.

I’ll post them on my Flickr account and probably some of them here on my blog – so stay tuned.

Domjüch used to be a nerve clinic from the late 1890s up until 2nd world war. After this the russians used the area for military purposes. Today it’s like a ghost town sadly though as the buildings used to be quite nice looking. Now it’s just ruins standing there waiting for nature to grow over them again.

By the way – this nice terrace in the following picture isn’t anymore. Sadly it has been kicked apart by angry youths and got graffiti painted all over the place. Well – we got a picture before that, havn’t we? ;)

NDR Starshow Hanover in 2008 has really been fun shooting – liked “Ich und Ich” most this evening. Apart from that I can only remember “Culcha Candela” – must be loss of memory ;-)

Expo Plaza was absolutely packed this evening, people didn’t mind it raining – that day really was fun.

No – I’m not starting this off with an “hello world”-post ;-)

This was actually quite a while ago – Friend ‘n Fellow live in concert back in 2007 – I’m kind of dating back my posts to represent my photographic highlights here on my blog. In 2007 my ‘career’ as concert photographer kind of ended – sadly it did. This was due to me deciding to not finish my job training but to study business informatics with german railways. So what did I do – I left Hanover and my concert-connections where gone – so was free time ;)

I quite like these two fabulous musicians – had the chance to visit concerts about three times. This all took place in a small village near my hometown called “Klein Trebbow”.
